Using a combination of pallet knife and brush strokes, the artist creates a rustic look, yet with refined detail. Note the detail in the cafe and the butcher shop. Look for the little black cat in all of Marilyn's paintings, as they wander the streets of France.

Marilyn Bast Dunlap With a passion for art and history, Marilyn started painting at a very early age. Growing up in a small town, she often dreamed of far away places. This longing to escape is reflected in her art. As a graduate of University of Florida with a major in Exercise Science and a minor in Art, she would teach in the Winter and travel to Europe in the Summer.
